It's Progress Report Time!

Greetings! We are now in our fifth week of school. The first quarter progress report grades will be submitted in a few days. Progress reports will be distributed on or about October 6, 2009. Hopefully, you have been keeping up with your assignments and have done well on the tests and quizzes.

Please remember that you are responsible for requesting all missed work in the event you are absent. Missed assignments can be made up only if you have an EXCUSED absence.

Parents are always welcome to visit your classrooms during the school day. If your parent would like to schedule a parent-teacher conference, please have him/her call your guidance counselor to set up an appointment. Conferences are held at the close of the school day. Your parents may email me with their concerns at marie.braxton@pgcps.org.

Welcome back to Parkdale High School! This is going to be a great 2009-10 school year. Of course, you will want to do your very best to have a successful year. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to ASK me. I am here to help you.

Here are some reminders for next week (week of September 7, 2009):

English 11 and 12: Study for your first quiz on Nouns and the Words of the Day. The quiz will be given on Thursday and Friday.

Academic Resource: Be prepared to turn in your Weekly Progress Reports on Tuesday. Remember that you will lose points for every day they are late!
